Why the 2007 Jeep Wrangler?

Brand reputation & image

The Jeep Wrangler is and always has been one of the most capable off the lot off-road vehicle. There is nothing better than hitting some backwoods trails with the doors and top off.

Exterior styling

Though the styling has changed some the wrangler is one of the most iconic american vehicles ever.

Feature availability

I love the 3-piece hard top and the electic swaybar disconnect and rear locker options on the X really make it a capable off-road vehicle while costing thousands less than a Rubicon. The aftermarket accessories are also readily available.

Past personal experience

This is my 2nd Wrangler and I do not see myself not having one for a long time, they are the funnest vehicle I have ever owned and they will go almost anywhere.

Price or payments

Very reasonable price and they hold their value.

Why Not the 2007 Jeep Wrangler?

Fuel economy

It is an aerodynamic brick and with it set up for off-roading the best I get is 17 mpg.

Cargo capacity

Due to the short wheelbase the towing capacity is limited to 2000 lbs and there is not much room behind the back seat. I had to add an aftermarket overhead rack to have extra storage for camping trips with the family.

Ride smoothness

Soild axels are great off-road but does cause a rougher ride on road.
