Reviewed: 2010 Jeep Wrangler

2dr SUV 202-horsepower 3.8L V6 6-speed manual 4WD, part-time w/low range

Why the 2010 Jeep Wrangler?

Exterior styling

Distinctive Jeep styling, not much else looks like it on the road now.

Powertrain performance

Rugged with a solid front and rear axle and a manually shifted part time transfer case, most other vehicles use failure prone electronics now.

Handling

Excellent off road of course, not bad on road handling considering it leans toward off road use. Tight turning circle makes parking and u turns easy. Recirculating ball steering system is nice and light while still providing feedback.

Feature availability

Can be ordered as a stripper or optioned up however you like easily. Wide range of available colours. Lots of off road oriented add ons that are not overly expensive and easy to install and good after market support.

Why Not the 2010 Jeep Wrangler?

Safety & braking

Emergency stops at speed are scary, takes a lot of concentration to stop the tail end from swinging out (atleast on the 2 door). Stock Goodyear Wrangler ASR tires are disappointing, especially in the wet.
