Iconic Jeep styling almost made us buy 4 years ago

Color choices

AWESOME was the word I head 4 times this week. Detonator Yellow was shown at the Auto show and was discontinued before the show - what the we went. Once we decided we looked around and only found 3 left in S Ontario. We only wanted the yellow top option.

Quietness

Compared to the model 4 years ago, this version is very quiet and WAY more urban luxurious. Soft surfaces protect the elbows etc from the bumps. Base stereo is excellent. The demonstrator I drove was far nicer than the one day old version I have right now

Driving position & visibility

Very few I have tested have enough room for my body frame. I have the seat at the highest elevation to get adequate leg angle. I can easily see out and still have about 2 in of head room. Rear view is not good with tire, brake light and head rest in view.

Discounts & incentives

We lucked out finding a dealer that had the vehicle, colour and ability to give out an employee discount. Matched with the 3% financing made our choice over a used vehicle easy.

Front seat support & comfort

It has the ability to go back and forth but not tilt the base seat. Firm but not being able to adjust the angle (like electric 10 way) makes a difference for tall and full frame people. I will be looking to adjust angle asap.

Fuel economy

We are aware of the bad economy but seeing the WHOLE lineup has a new Pentastar V6 this is the last year for the old engine style. We luckily have another fuel efficient car so we will enjoy the ride and monitor the gas usage.
