I have to say that of all the vehicles I've owned, this one surprises me. While there are many great things to say about it, I'll start in the trunk. IT'S HUGE. Downside is that it's pretty easy to overpower the rear shocks and the ride gets a bit rough.
Downside- Interior - Riding position is OK, but the front headrests force a downward angle on your neck if you are around the 6ft height like me. Fortunately I found that swapping the headrests with the ones in the rear and mounting the front ones backwards in the rear makes for a decent resting angle when travelling. Steering wheel design is not great. The spokes force a 10 and 2 grip on the wheel which is great from a safety point, but the angle of steering wheel when adjusted so the guages can be seen makes it tough to hold the wheel for hours at a time. It's not uncommon to suddenly realize your hands are becoming numb from the odd angle. The placement of the phone buttons isn't great either. When parking, I constantly bump the phone command button. Visibility is decent, but learning where the out-of-view corners of the car are takes a bit.
After many trips up and down the eastern USA coast (NY-FL and back) It has proven itself reliable and seems to do very well on the highway. Available power is decent, and fuel mileage is really good. It's unusual f we don't get at least the rated 33MPG but usually are between 35 and 38 with a full passenger load and moderately filled trunk.
This car stops so well it would make it hard not to leave nose prints on the inside of the windshield if not for the seatbelts. ABS is decently tuned and performance on both dry and slippery conditions is really pretty good.
This isn't a sports car. It's a sedan. You won't be spinning the wheels or racing for money. It does, however, have enough "git up and go" when you need it.
