144800   Fuel tank lining disintegrated and clogged diesel filter causing power loss and engine check light. Tank inside stripped, cleaned and flushed. Fuel lines flushed and filters replaced. 
157480   EGR valve sticking open causing black smoke and power loss. Inlet manifold removed and cleaned, blanking plate fitted to EGR pipe. 
107000 £80 replaced idler pulley of aux belt. installed super locker mod to override the tod system if needed.

140000 mi US $1350 Radiator hoses needed replacement along with water pump. Plus oil system needed help. Old age. 
47000 US $200 Accelerator cable was fraying inside its sheath, causing erratic pedal movement. 
48000   throttle plate carbon deposits. Dealer claimed to clean and lubricate.

97000   crank sprocket replaced. Overheating/Replaced reservoir. Seam on orig reservoir separated. Overheating: Could not locate problem Overheating/Replaced hose clamps. Overheating/Replaced water pump. 
97000   Overheated now wont start. Can't locate problem. Car has been sitting for a month after having continued overheating, replaced all possible problematic parts w/o resolution. Won't start post water pump.

139000   Check Engine Light. Purge valve needed replaced. Leaking hose in vapor recovery system repaired

80000 US $2 Crankshaft pulley bolt, broke in half, caused a lot of damage water pump, and so on. KIA should recall this part as it as happens a lot to Kia Sorento, all years it cost me $1474 to fix this mess,for a $ 10.00 part.
