Powertrain performance

Clutch and shifter worked well and engaged smoothly for the most part. However, it was difficult to engage 5th gear. The shift gate for that gear was unnecessarily difficult to overcome.

Interior styling

Nicely finished for a cheap car.

Depreciation

So far, the Korean cars have much greater depreciation than similar Japanese cars.

Front seat room

It felt smaller than the measurements suggested, relative to its competitors.
