Exterior styling
Quite simply put, this vehicle is stunning to look at. The only thing in the CSUV category that even approaches it is BMW's X6/X6M. The incredible customizability of color and overall rarity of the Evoque means no other car looks exactly like yours.
Color choices
Again gorgeous colors both inside and outside of the car. The red badge accents on the Dynamic somehow tastefully match all exterior colors. The skidplate color doesn't always perfectly complement exterior color. Interior leather colors impeccable.
Rear seat room & comfort
Astonishingly, the rear seats in this small SUV seat two six footers (and another, smaller middle passenger) very comfortably.
Feature availability
This car has just about everything you could ask for and is driveable in any imaginable condition. Heated front window and steering wheel. Integrated subwoofer. Elegant and functional daytime running lights and fog lights. Panoramic glass roof. etc.
Quietness
You have to experience how quiet this car is. Ultra silent at 100 MPH. Classical music sounds concert quality even in busy traffic. Dance club/bass music can be listened to at high levels without disturbing other drivers (!). Dynamic package smoothes ride
Cargo capacity
Any honest evaluation of hatchback/boot space must find it lacking. I can't even fit my golf clubs in the back unless I take out the driver and 3-wood. My family of 4 can't travel in it for more than a weekend without a roof rack/box. Form over fu
Powertrain performance
I don't like the acceleration curve on this car. I understand that it's an SUV and you may well tow a boat. I get that in "Drive" mode. In "Sport", the car should have a be more aggressive in first gear. The Turbo should lag less a
Audio & nav systems
This car needs more "tech" in it. It needs an internet access point. It needs more USB/Micro USB jacks in the back seat for power & connectivity. You should not have to special order rear entertainment package to get those things. Needs better ipo
Safety & braking
I'm going to put "TIRES" in this category. The Michelins on the the Dynamic (Style 6 wheels) are sad. They are not wide enough to the provide stopping or cornering to support the suspension aggressiveness of Dynamic magna-ride.
Controls and instruments
Small beef with where the bottom-back-side steering wheel controls. My knees frequently hit them, turning on/off the steering wheel heater and downshifting the paddle control.
