Squeak coming from front end, generally when braking at low speed. Noise has not gone away from two separate dealer visits.
Squeak in front end diminished on its own but never went away. We still heard the squeak 50 percent of the time.
Found that the passenger side rear reflector (in bumper) was not secured into bumper properly. It would push in when touched. Dealer attempted to secure it, but couldn't, so entire new bumper assemply was ordered, painted,and installed.
The leather drivers seat cover was replaced as it would not properly fasten at the bottom front lip. The newly replaced seat cover now has the same issue. Repair tech damaged door sill paint upon reinstalling seat.
Sunroof leak along the seam. Driver side rear quarter panel had a mark on the clear oat from the plastic applied to protect it during transport.

Rattle from glove box in new vehicle. On closer inspection, a trim piece underneath the glove box had come unsecured. I asked the dealer to repair. Dealer secured the piece and confirmed no damage to the clip. Rattle stopped.
Screw holding driver's side sun visor fell out and was lost.
The locking mechanism that hold center console lid down broke off. Center console lid would not stay down as a result.

Stitching on rear seat was coming undone. Dealer had a third-party double stitch it.

Rear view mirror mounted on windshield was getting loose and moving a little. Dealer tightened the screw that secured the rear view mirror to the windshield and the problem was fixed.
Window rattle when front windows were open about an inch or so. Fixed through TSB 09-011/13

Passenger seat trim loose. I've had nothing but problems with it.
Vibrating rear view mirror on driver side.
Driver side window has an air leak which produces very annoying sound during driving. It is positioned at 10o'clock and there is clear visible lack of contact of the seal in that corner. Driver side mirror shakes at speeds over 50 MPH.
Peeling paint on driver's side rocker. Dealer had rocker repainted.
Window and door rattles when left open at about 1 inch. Riding the car makes rattle noise and also when closing the door. There's a TSB for older models but dealer said my car's VIN is newer and doesn't apply.
One of the reflectors on the rear bumper came loose. They tightened the screw of it.
Side mirror vibrates at high speed
Rear spoiler creaking on bad roads, was slightly loose on one side.
Fix was to tighten bolt on one side.

Hood was vibrating. There was a TSB on this issue for earlier CX-5s, so they applied the same fix to my car.
Leather was prematurely worn on the driver's seat. Leather was replaced, but dealer took a long time to do the work as it's not a very common problem, I was told.
Side mirror were vibrating. Common CX-5 issue. Both mirrors were replaced under warranty. Driver's seat was incorrectly repaired last time. Leather was not properly fixed, seat frame was showing
Rattle in the center dash. Asked dealer about it during an oil change. Some bolt were tightened and it hasn't rattled in about a month.
Dash rattles, and windows rattle when cracked open, TSB fix was to remove windshield to fix dash rattle. Dealer had less invasive solution that has seemed to work.

Fixed rattle. rattle at upper front of doors. partially removed door panel and found anchor point padding insufficient and had moved allowing plastic to metal direct contact. Added padding. hood was slightly loose when closed. Catch side of latch was adjusted down.
buzzing sound from A pillars
when window is part open, small rattle noise heard. Fixed by the dealer.
Small squeaks from front window when opened surfaced again but dealer applied TSB and fixed.
small buzz re-developed again on passenger side when window is partially opened. Dealer found the cause and fixed.
Noise from bottom of windsheild, per TSB fixed.
Rattle noise coming from center of dash when car is cold. Instrument panel was removed - Center bracket was missing foam padding. Factory defect.

Glove box dampener replaced due to rattle noise
Many other rattles the dealer couldn't pinpoint. Traded for a 2014.
Hood flutters at highway speed near windshield. Tech confirmed issue and adjusted and tightened hood.
Rear cargo cover would rattle when going over uneven terrain. Steering wheel cover have excess clearance on windshield wiper stalk, intermittently produces rattles going over uneven terrain
Rear passenger seat latch had excess clearance with latch lock. Used electrical tape to reduce clearance between latch and latch lock. Noise has been gone since DIY repair.
Driver side mirror vibrated when driving. Dealership said no fix yet. Wait until Nov. 1st. This is a common issue.
Replaced defective mirror with one that also had a problem. Mazda notified, waiting for a response.
Service Bulletin for mirror vibration was done. It is better but not completely fixed to my satisfaction. Just a little bothersome, I am just giving up. Not worth my time.
There was a rattle coming from the right front of the vehicle. Some cowl bolts needed to be tightened. There is a TSB for this. Supposed to be a permanent fix. No problems since.
Trim piece (rubber/weatherstripping) that runs under the driver and rear passenger door was coming loose at the front. Dealer replaced under warranty.

Nut came loose from bolt and was rattling between headliner and roof near overhead lights panel. Dealer still looking for bolt missing a nut.
Two bolts that connect hatch dampers to car body rusted very badly. No other bolts in area appear rusted, just those two bolts. No explanation, no unusual exposure conditions.

A wire harness came loose behind the glovebox and was rattling around. The dealer quickly repaired and reattached it.

Rattle/vibration noise coming from the passenger side - when I sat in the passenger seat heard it from the centre console drivers mirror vibrates at higher speeds - when reported to the dealer they told me there was a service bulletin so they had a fix but they have to order the parts
There is still a rattle that seems to come from the passenger door when I am driving but when I sit in the passenger seat, it seems to be more in the dash.

Plastic cover on rear seat falls off. Dealer determined that there was a TSB but the part was actually broken. New part on order, not yet replaced. Cost not known at this time.
Re-attached sunroof air deflector to support arm. Mazda uses an overly flimsy material. Dealer initially attempted a repair with glue.
Installed a rivet to secure moonroof air deflector to "driver side" spring loaded retraction arm.
Rattle under the dashboard when riding over bumps. Left side of lower seat (where your butt is) was ripped upwards off the base. Lower seat trim cloth had to be replaced.

Symmetrical dents due to body fatigue on both sides by the hatch. Those are symmetric and look very similar on both sides. Left side dented more than right side.

Driver side mirror shakes above ~35 mph (rearview and passenger side mirror are solid). They inspected it and said there was no issue. It still shakes. Update: it stopped bothering me. Not sure if it went away or I just got used to it.
