94000 175 engine light came on. took to my mechanic and codes p2195 and p2197. replaced pcv hose, engine idle control, intake manifold gasket and a few other vacuum leaks, engine came back on, mechanic suggested taking it to dealer.

79000 200 erratic idle, down on full throttle power. Replaced faulty PCV hose and valve. As a preventative maintenance I removed and replaced all spark plugs and COPs. 
92000 0 Front timing chain cover and oil pan develop leaks. It is a labor intensive repair. Estimates about $1,300. I first tried engine seal "stop leak" products with poor results. A telltale sign of burning oil accompanies this ford sourced duratech V6 defect.  
95300 0 Water pump developed leaks around the housing. Replaced it along with the short elbow bypass hose that connects the water pump to the coolant passages in the valley under the lower intake.
