The car handles very well when cornering, or avoiding any sudden obstacles on the road. Steering is positive and has a nice tight feel.
On 4 wheel disc brakes, the car will panic stop in a straight line, from 100kph, with no hands on the steering wheel! Side and front protection in addition to front air bags was not available on other vehicles.
To name a few: Steering mounted audio controls and cruise controls, remote keyless illuminated entry, heated driver and passenger seats, heated outside rear view mirrors, and remote start - beneficial in winter conditions! No more rubber timing belt!
