2010 Mazda Mazda3 Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Owner Pros and Cons by sluwong

Handling
More concerned with corner carving than out right power so I liked the 2.0L 4cyl with 5-speed manual combo. Cornered very flat, even with the 16 inch alloy wheels. Typical Japanese tuning, more spring rate than shock dampening. Mild understeer.
Exterior styling
Upped the hatch style over the previous model. Made it look more razor edged like the RX-8. I actually like the grinning front end.
Front seat support & comfort
Tilt and telescopic wheel plus the adjustments with the drivers seat had me in a very good/comfortable driving position. Being comfortable allows me to concentrate on the drive ahead instead of being distracted by squirming around in the seat.
Rear seat room & comfort
Being a 5 door hatch, there is plenty of room back for 2 full size adults or 3 kids/teenagers. The versatility of the hatch makes it feel like a Mini SUV.
Dealer practices
Over the phone, said that they will give me a great price. When I showed up, the price was what was listed on the windshield. Very disappointed. All I wanted was less than $1000 off the List. Dishonestly left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
Price or payments
Another dealership would not even consider discounting the 2010 Mazda 3, only offering incentives on remaining 2009 models.
Interior styling
Too much black. The model I wanted had a lot of hard black plastics which felt real cheap to touch.
