2010 Mazda Mazda3 Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Best value for money in 2010 Small Car Segment by skierdad
If you're looking for the best bang for your buck in a new small 4-door car, this is it! Bluetooth, auot headlgihts, rain-sensing wipers, sat radio connectivity, Ipod integration, etc. are all standard. The fuel economy, power, and handlnig are all good.
Fuel economy
in mixed driving, averages under 7.0L/100km.
Handling
This car is one of hte best handlnig cars in the segment. The turn is good, steering provides decent feedback for a car in this class. the chassis really communicates with you as you approach the vehicles limits.
Controls and instruments
Ergonomics are good, everything is easy to reach, steering wheel controls are simple.
Feature availability
There is a ton of standard features in this car for the money.
Price or payments
When doing my research prior to purchasing a new vehicle, the Mazda very quickly rose to the top as the value leader in the segment. It offers a ton of higher-end standard features, such as auto headlgihts, rain-sensing wipers, and bluetooth standard for a price lower than most of its competitors.
Dealer practices
Significant challenges with misinformation and misdiagnosis when vehicle would go in for service. Their Sales dept. was great, but since my vehicle is no longer covered by warranty, I no longer have it serviced at the dealership.
Quietness
The cabin is quite noisy and there can be significant wind noise when driving on the highway.
