Why the 2009 Mazda Mazda6?

Safety & braking

Strong brakes with anti-lock brake system and dynamic stability control. Firm pedal feel.

Handling

Relatively firm suspension. Balanced handling. Responsive but not darty. Low body roll when cornering

Fuel economy

The fuel economy is in the upper range of the norm for this class of car.

Price or payments

Probably mostly due to the economy tanking, and car dealerships wanting to move product, I got a very good deal on this car.

Dealer practices

The salesman showed and demonstrated the various features of the car, then encouraged me to test them myself, including the anti-lock brakes and dynamic stability control. And no games at the time of the deal.

Why Not the 2009 Mazda Mazda6?

Driving position & visibility

The rear trunk lid is high, and the C pillars are wide, so visibility out the rear and rear quarters not great. My old (98) Camry has better visibility out the back.
