Car has been very reliable.
Car handles well on dry payment, especially for a wagon.
The Ford 3.0L Engine is suprisingly smooth.
It's a wagon! I can fit a 10 foot long 2x4 in the car, with the hatch closed.

The Ford 3.0L engine isn't particular good on gas, nor is it particularly powerful
My car has the 18" low profile tires, which are quite attractive. However, Mazda must have manufcatured magnets into these wheels, as I have had more flat tires in the car than any other, driven on the same roads.
This car leaves a lot to be desired in Wet / Snow conditions. Wet braking is not this car's strong point. Snow traction is "average" but only because of the decent traction control. Without this, I would rate the car as "poor" in the snow.
This car eats brake pads and rotors. I expect that both front and rear pads/rotors will need to be changed every two years.
Had a problem where the suspension would make a creeking sound while turning the steering wheel at slow (parking lot) speeds. Internet research turned up a few similar problems. Our problem was successfully diagnosed as a bushing problem in a lower control arm. I expect that I will need motor mounts replaced sooner-rather-than-later as well.
