Reviewed: 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

4dr Sedan 168-horsepower 2.6L V6 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD

Why the 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

Handling

Good evasive response, braking & turning, nice turn-in, well-behaved rear suspension, rear wheel drive. Confidence inspiring. ESP not intrusive, Brake Assist well-integrated.

Driving position & visibility

Accommodates different size drivers - can get pedal / steering wheel / view of road & mirrors right for me and my wife. Quiet car at speed.

Materials & workmanship

Nice gaps, everything fits.

Exterior styling

Understated, minimal chrome, nice lines.

Fuel economy

I figured I could get over 30 on trips, which I can. Hoped to stay above 25 around town, which I do.
