None of us love the minivan look in our family but we need the cargo and the 6 passanger seat car. This is why we bought the 2007 R350 and we love it since.
rnNo other car can beat the comfort and space on this car. Except of course, the mpg can be improved.
great exterior styling...NOT a minivan look and certainly does not drive like one. Not too long and not to short on a wheelbase. Perfectly fit in my garage.
Not a very high tech feeling but more on the comfort feeling on every level. All adults and kids sits comfortably everywhere inside my 2007 R350.
Maroon. Although not much you can choose when purchasing used but maroon is not a bad color afterall. I prefer black or mocha or dark gray.
feeling a bit heavy on the R350. But shifts smooth...good for speeding but better for slowing and moderate driving.
15mpg city....25 mpg highway....combined is around 17-18 mpg. Not bad considering how heavy this car is. Of course i am very light to the pedal trying to keep my mpg high. Gas is too expensive nowadays so if i don't need to be fast, i am keeping it steady.
My car insurance is not that high surprisingly. But this car depreciate and very hard to sell. It gets to the point i am loving it back and keeping it until it gives up on me.
No major things needed to be done yet. Just oil change and service B. It has 60k miles on it now. So far so good.
I wish this car is a bit longer when having the 3rd row up so i can have more cargo. But, we solve it by putting the cargo on top of the car for long trips.
It's a luxury car. No matter where you go, people think you have money when you drive this car. Which sometime i hate how people judge me when they see me driving this car. Especially if you are working at a non profit company.
feel very safe and secure especially with the kids inside the car. Braking is very good as well.
it is either you love it or hate it. R-class is a very unique in terms of look and style. And NO ...it is NOT a chrysler pacifica. End of story!!!
