The CVT transmission loses a LOT of power between the crank and the wheels and leaves very little in the way of performance options for the automatic driver.
Despite being sealed behind a double layering of weather stripping and enough comfortable fabric to sleep in the overall road noise/drive noise of the Lancer is on the loud side.
