2010 Mitsubishi Outlander 4dr SUV

230-horsepower 3.0L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic 4WD

6500 mi   Technical Service Bulletin was now available to correct the problem. 
8060   Had trouble starting vehicle (the vehicle would stall)and the check engine light came on and turned off by itself the next day. 
17660   Had trouble starting vehicle on a cold morning. Engine would keep stalling and the 'check engine light' illuminated. It took 5 tries to start the vehicle before it would hold a constant idle. The Tech replaced some relays.

2008 Mitsubishi Outlander 4dr SUV

turbocharged 154hp 2.3L I4 Diesel 6-speed manual 4WD

3000 mi   Very low oil level could not find the correct oil for my VW diesel engine fitted to my UK outlander. VW refused to let me buy oil from them I have never had to top up oil on other cars owned in a 12 month period 
6000   Car sent in for scheduled service. On the way home the engine sounded that it was sucking air. Took car back and they found a turbo pipe was blown off. Mitsubishi UK did not have the part in stock. Given hire car for 4 days.

14260 mi   Throttle lag. Supposedly fixed with computer update. Seems better, but not perfect. Haven't reported. 
50000 US $120 Rear wheel sensor went out. Replaced under warranty. 
19840   heat shield on exhaust pipe was rusted to be broken and get rattling. 
10000   Cold start engine misfire for 1 minute followed by service engine light
