Why the 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Ride smoothness

This crossover SUV just felt good to drive. It rode like a car (which makes sense since I think it was built on the Galant chassis.

Reliability & durability

I put over 100,000 miles on my 2003 Outlander in under 4 years and other than regular maintenance and a set of brake pads and new tires, I never had a problem with it.

Fuel economy

I was always surprised at the great mileage I got. Routinely I got 23-25 MPG city and 28-31 highway.

Handling

It handles more like a sedan and is very responsive in the steering.

Why Not the 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Driving position & visibility

Even though the drivers seat height is adjustable to be more sedan or more SUV-like I always felt like I had a big blind spot at the back corners of the car. Always bugged me.
