Introduction

I compared a lot of SUV crossovers before deciding on the Juke. Unknowns were the CVT and reliability record. However, the turbocharger gives this car a lot of pep. Handling is superb. AWD is a plus for winter weather. Ability to put it in manual is also great for snow and ice.

Why the 2013 Nissan JUKE?

Exterior styling

I like the way this car looks and I love the high clearance. Atomic gold was a new color for 2013. Very attractive.

Handling

Sticks to the road like glue and I drive in the mountains of WV where the roads curve and go up and down.

Front seat room

Plenty of room in the front.

Driving position & visibility

Love sitting up high. As a small woman I was able to get the seat back up straight so I could push it back farther from the steering wheel and airbag.

Depreciation

This car holds its value so if I decide I don't like it I will get almost full price for trade in.

Why Not the 2013 Nissan JUKE?

Ride smoothness

Very stiff ride. You will feel the bumps but not in a bad way.

Fuel economy

Not as advertised. Much less. I've never gotten 30mpg. Usually 25mpg.

Conclusion

The only drawbacks I have seen so far are that this car does not get stated mileage. I doubt anyone gets 30mpg. I believe Nissan should be required to change it. It's a fun car to drive and it handles beautifully.
