Reviewed: 2001 Nissan Pathfinder

4dr SUV 240-horsepower 3.5L V6 4-speed automatic 4WD, part-time w/low range

Why the 2001 Nissan Pathfinder?

Exterior styling

Sleek exterior style, roof rack, towing capabilities, rear windshield wiper

Feature availability

Leather interior, auto almost everything, nice stereo, lighted indicators for any service issue

Interior styling

Spacious - gives enough leg room for tall people

Quietness

It is extremely quiet when starting and while driving

Front seat room

It gives enough space for lots of legs

Why Not the 2001 Nissan Pathfinder?

Handling

Its horrible in windy driving conditions. It will change lanes on you with one small gust.

Depreciation

I was told by the dealer that the car would not depreciate quickly but for a 26k car to go to 4k in good condition is ridiculous

Dealer practices

when taking in for service I was told that things I had done had not indeed been done, they did not fix an issue and then rescheduled service the week after my warranty expired and would not hold true to warranty

Driving position & visibility

There are large blind spots between rear seats and trunk area

Front seat support & comfort

After the warranty expired the seats stopped being able to move at all and the cushioning squashed making it extremely uncomfortable for extended driving
