Nissan Rogue Reliability through December 31, 2012
An asterisk (*) marks results based on small sample sizes.
General NotesHow do we select "competing car models"? Users of TrueDelta's car price comparison tool most often compare these cars to the Nissan Rogue.Models and statistics marked with an asterisk (*) have very low sample sizes. These results, visible only to logged-in members, provide only a rough estimate of car reliability.
Any result under 20 repair trips per 100 cars is likely a result of the small sample size, and should be expected to increase to 20 or so in future updates.
New models often start out with high repair rates, and then improve as the manufacturer identifies and addresses common problems. MethodologyOnly successfully completed repairs are currently included in the analysis. Routine maintenance, most wear items, recalls, and problems fixed with just a reflash or warning light reset are not included.

Rock solid after 21,000 miles in 11 months. The worst quality issue so far has been a quiet, intermittent rattle. Cheap to maintain, too. If it holds up as well as my '08 Versa, I will be very happy. |
| 2011 | 4dr SUV 170-horsepower 2.5L I4 CVT AWD |
I would rank Nissan just below Honda for reliability history. They are also known for being quite durable. I think they are on par with Toyota after the recent quality issues Toyota has experienced. |
| 2010 | 4dr SUV 170-horsepower 2.5L I4 CVT FWD |
Had it for over 2 1/2 years and 17000 miles and not one problem. Oil change, that's it. Very reliable so far. |
| 2010 | 4dr SUV 170-horsepower 2.5L I4 6-speed shiftable CVT AWD |
glitch free from day of purchase and remaining so. (Apr2012) I find that the CVT seems to give a pulse or vibe as acceleration onto the freeway. (July 2012 additional info) - now i've isolated tranny vibe - will take to dealer and get repaired. |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 170-horsepower 2.5L I4 6-speed shiftable CVT AWD |
Nissan has a good name for reliability. |

Obviously because of my past 4 experiences going up hills over 125km car pretty much shuts down and has no power have to pull over and start vehicle.... and after problems over drive no longer works |
