Nissan is a brand that builds cars that tend to be sporty and different. Nissan has never been the automaker to follow the crowd. They are trend setters and never scared to take a chance or being their own leader.
I think the brand is extremely reliable. My 1997 Nissan Maxima has 236k miles and still going. To this day I never 2nd guess about driving my car on 6hr trips. I used to wrk for Nissan and seen many cars come in for reg maintaince with over 300k miles.
Just as many reviewers stated the engine/trans powertrain is one of the markets best. It is powerful yet refined and smooth. The towing capabilites have exceeded our expectations. We love the power, engine/exhaust sounds, quietness and performance.
My personal experience has been with Nissan as parents and family members owning Nissan products in the past and loving them for the performance and reliability.
