Had this problem the first week I brought car home after purchasing but they told me it was fixed. Hood latch was replaced. Dealer originally said he couldn't find a problem with it but would replace it anyway because I was still under warranty (and this was the second time this happened). Once old latch was removed, they found that it WAS defective.

Nissan then felt the problem was the U-joints in the steering column assembly and the lower shaft was replaced. Car had to stay another day until these parts arrived.

Determined fuel pressure regulator needed to be replaced.

Upon my research, I found a TSB that matched my VIN, and brought it up to the dealer, whom discounted it and refused to examine.
