Why the 2006 Cadillac CTS?

Why Not the 2006 Cadillac CTS?

Front seat support & comfort

Seats were horrible. Could not find a comfortable position plus the center console along with the key fob hanging from the ignition contacted my leg. My 06 Grand Prix was much more comfortable.

Ride smoothness

Not the type of ride you would expect from a caddy. Noise in front end from bad strut and/or upper mount. Cadillac service rep told me that I should have kept the Grand Prix. When asked why, he said the cts "is not a good car-we try not to sell used o

Materials & workmanship

Car was never hit, but trunk was crooked-body shop adjusted but further adjustment would not allow lid to latch. Cheap quality inside and out. Car has weird rocker panels and looks unfinished looking at the side from a distance.

Reliability & durability

Replaced water pump, rt front strut and upper strut mount at 24,000 miles. Car always idled rough.

Exterior styling

Cheap looking gray plastic grille and air dam that hung down in front (easily damaged). Again, the sides under the doors look like something is missing.
