2000 Pontiac Sunfire Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Owner Pros and Cons by wmeador

Fuel economy
For the 2.4 150hp liter engine, it gets decent highway mpg. Rated at 30 mpg, I typically got around 26-28 in mountainous driving.
Price or payments
A relatively cheap car that felt like it was excellent value for the price.
Front seat support & comfort
The front bucket seats were comfortable and decent fabric. Nothing exceptional, but not too uncomfortable to sit in for long drives.
Handling
Was a responsive car, but would feel like you were driving something a little bigger then you really were.
Quietness
The cabin noise was exceptionally loud, same with the engine.
Insurance cost
Insuring it was not bad, but the vehicle rapidly depreciated.
Ride smoothness
The suspension was not smooth at all. Did not seem to absorb any bumps or road defects.
