Consumer Reports rated it a Best Buy with better than average repair history. Owned for 3 years (bought new) and have had no major problems. Even for minor problems, if >1 day in the shop, they either gave me a loaner or a free rental car.
VERY important (one of key reasons we purchased.) With 2 trunks we can load up the car for a weekend of camping or climbing or just getting away. Competitors all had tiny storage space.
Consumer Reports noted Boxster had best brakes of ANY car they had EVER tested. Plus, the Boxster (2005 and later) was first convertible ever to provide side impact air bags.
