Why the 2008 Porsche Cayman?

Exterior styling

The car is stunning - I continue to have people walk up to me at the service station to discuss it after almost 4 years.

Reliability & durability

The car has been bullet proof. Some say these cars are expensive to maintain and while iut costs more than a Honda Civic I've averaged less than 500 a year for maintenance and other than a flat tire I've never had to bring the car in unexpectedl

Fuel economy

It is better than I expected. I average roughly 23 miles with city and highway commuting on days I choose to take it to the office. On trips I can get 26 mpg, not stellar but not awful.

Materials & workmanship

You can't sit in this car and not be impressed with the quality of the materials and workmanship.

Handling

To drive this car is to love it. I bought a wheel and tire insurance package and have replaced all four tires due to flats -- note if you buy a Porsche get the wheel package. In any event the car rides well and handles amazingly.

Why Not the 2008 Porsche Cayman?

Feature availability

Of the last 6 cars I've owned, you could get automatic headlights. The Cayman S does not have this feature.

Audio & nav systems

Probably about one out of every 5 starts the satellite radio doesn't cycle on and the car has to be turned off and then restarted.
