Why the 2008 Saab 9-3?

Brand reputation & image

I had never known Saab until the moment I saw a black 93 stationwagon in a used car lot. I started my research, by that time Saab was already bankrupted so that Saabs are cheap to buy but expensive to own. I did my pros and cons and decided to went for it. This isa very special car, very handsomely styled and very, very cool!

Exterior styling

unique, distictive and stands the pass of time.

Powertrain performance

smooth, quiet, powerful though a bit thirsty.

Interior styling

either saabs or volvos, Scandavian styling just works for me.

Reliability & durability

everytime I went to a eurpoean part store people there will tell me how much more frequent BMW owners will have to visit them. I don't know. I have it for about a year and it has been reliable, only one problem occured with an ignition coil.

Why Not the 2008 Saab 9-3?

Materials & workmanship

fit and finish and some cheap interior plastic bits are the major left downs of this otherwise very upscale car, but I can easily live with that.

Warranty, maintenance cost

Saab owners: what warranty? we are on our own!
