Why the 2003 Saab 9-5?

Safety & braking

This car feels very solid and secure on the road, even at high speed. Excellent brakes. Car has electronic stability control, but it is only very rarely activated in driving, normally on snow or ice. Car is very good in snow.

Fuel economy

Excellent for such a large and powerful car. I consistently get about 28 mpg in mixed driving, normally with a good share of very congested urban driving in the mix.

Front seat support & comfort

Superb. Very comfortable seats. Not the best, but much better than most.

Handling

Surprisingly agile for size and weight

Interior styling

Love the dashboard and seats. Very Saab!
