Why the 2002 Saab 9-5?

Past personal experience

Years of owning Saabs (9000 SE, 9000 Aero, 9-5 Aero (01,02,02) have revealed the same set of initial issues, but the engines themselves are rock solid and have an amazing power/mpg ratio for 4 cylinders.

Fuel economy

Hard acceleration and high speed passes still return 22-23 mpg. Easy driving, 29-30 mpg. The 250 hp 4 cylinder is very responsive with minimal turbo lag.
