The HP increase over the base engine. The supercharger is smooth in its operation and provides a good boost of power for passing. The vehicle still gets decent gas mileage with normal driving. It is a performance vehicle.

The subtle changes for the Red Line compared to the standard Ion.

It corners well and it is notable that there was track testing during the development of the vehicle.

Rear seat room & comfort

Not passenger friendly but easy to access with the rear doors.

Interior styling

The jigsaw puzzle look of the dash and the complete hard plastic feel of it. The inside window trim pieces for the rear doors constantly come loose.
