A "pinging" noise was heard when cornering right above 60kmh. The noise was traced back to a misaligned drivers front brake shield that was catching on the rotor a/o caliper. This might be related to the same wheel having had a new bearing installed prior
Brake warning light intermittently coming on. Dealer could find no faults in the braking system. Brake pads/rotors sound. Suggested parking brake was left partially engaged??Says fluid level is fine. "Drive it and see if it comes back on again"
Went in for oil change. Mechanic noticed front brakes badly worn and needed replacement.
Routine maintenance. Was told brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. I chose not to have the work done at that time.
Acted on recommended repairs: brakes were replaced.
fluttering noise from rear of vehicle that turns to constant hum at speed. Shop thought rear brake drums were the cause and noticed rot and replaced rear brakes. noise remains. will take to dealer for evaluation.
ABS light being triggered by wheel hub bearing. Reset light.
