2006 Saturn VUE 4dr SUV

250-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic FWD

46540 mi C $67 A bolt sheared off the exhaust due to rust and stress. Went to the dealership and they said that's what happened. There was some extra noise when the engine was started and accelerating. Took it to a muffler shop instead to fix. Cheaper.

35960   Engine pinging and knocking (dealer heard nothing of course and did not attempt any repair). 
31000   Ignition cylinder taken apart and lubricated due to the cylinder binding(Hard to start vehicle). EVAP Canister replaced due to small leak.

60020 mi C $40 Engine warning light came on. Diagnostic indicated minor EVAP leak likely. Can only be repaired by GM. Checking warranty. 
88200   Wary of the 'low oil' light coming after my last experience, I waited too long to have a mechanic look at, so engine was damaged and had to be replaced entirely. 
83700 C $280 Catalytic converter rattles, apparently worn out from the inside. Replace was recommended.
