Why the 2007 Suzuki Reno?

Cargo capacity

I have been able to fit just about anything into this car. For example: a portable massage table, several rugs, a door with trim, and a radio flyer wagon. The back seats fold down providing a lot of room. This car has aided in at least three moves.

Feature availability

I have enjoyed the moon roof, power windows and locks, the alloy wheels, and child safety locks.

Exterior styling

My wife bought the car partially because it is Orange, and it is easy to spot in a parking lot.

Why Not the 2007 Suzuki Reno?

Reliability & durability

I have been stranded 2 times, and my wife has been stranded 1 time in this car. Steering sensor, transmission sensor, O2 sensors, catalytic converter, fuel injectors, and struts have all had to be replaced.

Fuel economy

In general for the size of the car and the way I drive, I feel like I get lower gas mileage, 20-23 MPG on average, than I expected, however, it is rated for 18-28 MPG.

Ride smoothness

The ride is not particularly smooth, there is a lot of vibration. The gears do not switch when expected and it can be felt when they shift. I have always felt that this car is a bit sluggish. The air conditioning greatly impacts the ride smoothness.

Dealer practices

rental cars are not provided for warranty work. The dealership I have been to has not informed me of the work being done in timely manners.

Quietness

It is loud without the A/C on and louder with it on. With all the windows closed there is a high sound pressure that I compensate for by either turning the radio louder or opening the windows.
