Why the 2007 Toyota 4Runner?

Powertrain performance

The 4Runner is a fantastic "go anywhere" vehicle..IF you need that sort of thing.

Driving position & visibility

You sit high in the 4Runner, with a commanding view of the road. Despite being rather large, I found the 4Runner to be very easy to maneuver and park.

Reliability & durability

Other than sticking calipers (common problem), the 4Runner was trouble-free for me.

Materials & workmanship

Very well put together vehicle. The 4Runner is made to go anywhere with few worries about breakdowns.

Cargo capacity

My 4Runner had 7 passenger seating, with jump seats that could be flipped down, or up, to accommodate passengers or cargo. Still, the rear most jump seats were uncomfortable for most on extended trips.

Why Not the 2007 Toyota 4Runner?

Fuel economy

The dash readout is optimistic. I often though I was getting over 25mpg only to calculate as low as 14--on the highway! Ultimately, this was the 4Runners undoing. I traded it for a much more efficient Camry.
