Why the 2003 Toyota Prius?

Fuel economy

Over 365 days, through 4 seasons, I consistently average 44 mpg. Pretty hard to beat!

Reliability & durability

In 5.5 years I have only one problem with reliability, and no expenses other than routine maintenance.

Interior styling

The dash style is interesting and the materials are higher quality so that after 5+ years, it still looks classy

Rear seat room & comfort

It is very comfortable for two adults on a long trip.

Ride smoothness

It rides so heavy due to the battery, which makes it feel very solid and smooth.

Why Not the 2003 Toyota Prius?

Price or payments

It is an expensive car, and I am hoping to drive it for 10+ years to make that investment worth it. I am a person who would more likely buy a used car rather than something new off the lot. I just got swept away by the "green" aspect of owning a Prius.
