2008 Toyota Yaris Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Owner Pros and Cons by koalapeck

Fuel economy
30+ MPG without even trying
Front seat room
For the size of car, there is a lot of front seat room
Driving position & visibility
There are essentially no blind spots. It is the easiest car in the world to park, backup, parallel park, etc.
Price or payments
Good value for money
Reliability & durability
Other than a few minor warranty problems the car is solid.
Quietness
There is no sound insulation so on gravel roads the rocks being kicked up are extremely loud. The engine sounds absolutely terrible above 3,000 rpm.
Audio & nav systems
The CD player is very picky about how an MP3 disc is created. The speakers sound pretty bad. No steering wheel audio controls.
Powertrain performance
The Yaris is a little bit too slow for me. If it had 20 more HP I think it would be plenty quick enough for the size of vehicle it is. Also, it should have a 5 AT, not a 4 AT. This would help make the car smoother, more responsive and improve fuel economy
