2009 Volkswagen Eos Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Owner Pros and Cons by ferretwulf

Feature availability
Retractable hardtop convertible in the appropriate price range.
Exterior styling
Top up or down the Eos has overall goog styling. Top up, it is difficult to tell it is a convertible and has very good coupe lines.
Powertrain performance
The VW 200HP Turbo power plant combined with the 6 speed DSG gear box provides good (if not great) power for the slightly heavy retractable hard top convertible. It definitely have get up and go.
Discounts & incentives
Lease pricing was very disounted moving into winter when we picked it up. Over $200 per month lower than summer lease prices.
Insurance cost
Insurance rates on the Eos through State Farm Mutal are very good. Lowest of my vehicle in the last few years.
Cargo capacity
Well, its a RHT coupe. Which means that hard top takes up a ton of space when down. It was a known drawn back, but it does suck on trips from Vegas to california for luggage space if you want to the top down.
Dealer practices
First VW dealership I spoke to regarding the lease tried to play games, addiing in BS acquisition fees, and special lease fees. Finally talked to my Honda salesman who got me in with his VW sales rep at their associated dealer. They took care of us.
