3000 0 The windshield wipers were very noisy. Dealer installed a grommet that was missing from time of manufacture.  "Low oil pressure. Do not exceed 4000 RPM" was displayed on dashboard. Dealer could not replicate the problem but changed the oil filter. Dealer speculated that the valve in the oil filter was faulty.
28500 0 Popping noise was heard during spirited turns. Dealer replaced the sub frame bolts.
34000 0 Blower fan was noisy. It was replaced. Interior door handle would not snap back to its return position after opening the door. 10000 0 The RT FT door was misaligned causing wind noise and visible. Noticed it about 3 days after delivery. Told dealer I would like it fixed at 1st service (10K) and it was--no problem now. I'd consider it minor, but, a warranty's a warranty. Will report once part arrives. This is a washer-fluid leak from the rear (the 3rd brake light needs to be replaced). Dealer tech verified and ordered. I gather it is a common problem for the car.
16000 0 They changed out the unit, but the new one leaks, too. Said they'd 'find a fix' for it. DSG transmission giving 'false neutrals'--i.e., indicator says it's in 3rd gear but engine just revs when you step on the accelerator. They ordered a new mechatronics unit, which hasn't arrived yet.
19000 0 First they ordered a new mechatronics unit; problem came back quickly. Then, they did the reflash/recall; so far, so good--haven't had the false neutral since. Rear wiper/washer leaked; they replaced unit, still had problem. On visit where they fixed the DSG issue, they fixed this as well.
34500 0 Took it in for its 30K maintenance and reported high-pitched screech at ~60mph+. They heard it and couldn't isolate it; needed it for a day. They took 2 days to fix, but it seems good. Rt Ft door not closing flush. Was repaired before (2011) under warranty. Dealer insist it was caused by my hitting a road hazard, but the door was coming loose before then. NOT FIXED

7000 0 Engine vibration/rattle when accelerating between 2,000-3,000 RPM. VW released a TSB over the summer of 2011 to attach a small metal clip onto an engine component. The rattle/vibration is nearly gone, just barley audible now.
