80700 200 You've heard of Fahrvergnuegen. This problem was heimtueckish. It dropped VW several notches in my book. AC stopped working. After much troubleshooting, identified prob as faulty fuse box atop battery. Wiring corroded, fuse holder bad. 
82300 100 Trunk opening actuator failed. Replaced with aftermarket fix (buy part off ebay, install self). 
83000 150 Based on vehicle history, this is like the 4th battery in this car's 8-year life. I believe it was due to the poorly engineered wiring (see April trip), and should be OK after replacing alternator cable.
