Dealership damaged door handled, in fact, they ripped it off and broke it inside the door panel. They would not fix it as they wouldn't admit of being at fault. I purchased the part and installed it. Cigarette lighter quit working for the fourth time in 7 years. Electric trunk release mechanism broke as the entire assembly is made of metal except for the actuator which is plastic. Part cost is $250, as VW only sells the entire assembly. Oil consumption. The car needs a full quart of oil every 500 - 600 miles. This is a non-turbo engine, but told that all VWs do that. There is no oil leak that I can see.
