Manufacturer TSB for intake flap motor replacement that was causing the frequent Check Engine lights.
Relay 167 failed, causing the ECU to stop seeing 4 critical sensors. This caused the ECU to shut down the turbocharger and put the engine in limp mode.
Extremely rough idle and check engine light when cold-starting engine.
Dealership replaced injector for Cylinder 3 and R&R intake manifold.
Retaining sleeve rusted out and broke, separating the exhaust system in the middle.
Thermostat failed, causing low coolant temps and CEL
Intermittent communication faults between accelerator and throttle body on cold starts (not while driving). Misfires, goes into limp mode, DTC code appears. Returns to normal when code cleared. Dealer replaced wiring based on TSB for different engine. Replaced accelerator module myself, problem reoccurred two days later.
Vehicle went into limp mode, same issue as previously reported, ongoing problem. Reset ECU and car started correctly again. Root cause still not found.
Replaced engine cover with integrated air filter as current one was coming apart, not sealing up tightly along front edge (wear & tear). No driveability symptoms yet.
Engine running rough with lit CEL and code indicating misfires for cylinder # 3. Replaced all spark plugs and coil packs as a fix + preventative measure.
CEL due to flapper motor. Replaced under warranty.
ECP and MIL lights on. Reflash of ECU solved the problem. Also had the 30K miles service performed.
Intermittent hard start when the engine is cold. The engine will just crank maybe 10 times and won't start. If you turn the car off and try again, it will start right up Dealer could not replicate. Updated ECU.
