Why the 2006 Volkswagen Jetta?

Materials & workmanship

Attention to detail, entire car(engine compartment, underside, etc...) is finished in and out. Long corrosion warranty speaks for quality materials and finishing. Laser welded structure for stronger/stiffer/safer chassis.

Interior styling

Quality feel, low on bling but high on purpose, nothing you do not need. Excellent ergonomics and seats. Cloth covered A-pillar trim, nicely finished cargo area with tie downs.

Safety & braking

ABS, ASR, EBD and EBA standard. Brakes are rear biased so car does not nose dive during heavy braking. Front and rear side curtain and thorax bags. Standard three point seat belts and headrests for all passengers. Negative roll radius steering.

Feature availability

Many safety features standard. Heated seats, mirrors, washer nozzles standard. PW, PM, PL standard.

Why Not the 2006 Volkswagen Jetta?

Fuel economy

Thirsty in the city

Brand reputation & image

VW gets a bad reputation for reliability and quality though they build an excellent vehicle in terms of safety, handling and fun to drive.
