Acceleration, passing performance at any speed. Great auto tranny, Aisin is much better shifting than ZF in my old 2003. Six gears and Sport feature are a bonus!
25+ mpg in town, 34+ mpg on road

Not as nice as 2003 Passat. BIG concern is lack of decent fresh air from dash outlets and mediocre a/c system - takes forever to cool and never gets really cold even in NY state! again, 2003 was MUCH better in boyh areas.`Headliner is cheaper material.
