2008 Volkswagen Touareg Pros and Cons A member in Western Australia, Australia No bluetooth or auxiliary plugin for music in a 2008 vehicle when cheap imports have had them in for 3 - 5 years. I knew this when I bought it and have replaced the audio system but it was surprising. |

Compare to other mid-size SUV's 2013 Volkswagen Touareg Pros and Cons Member1788 ours is the Sport w/navigation which also includes a backup camera. So far the navigation has been more help than hindrance as VW has seen fit to include 4 years of traffic warnings, etc. with Sirius for 'free'. The 3D effect when downtown, etc. gives you decent landmarks to pass... |

2005 Volkswagen Touareg Pros and Cons Member3870 I always thought the basic radio/cd should have been a 6 disc in dash arrangement instead of needing the optional CD changer in the back. Second there should have been an audio input for an MP3 player instead of relying on aftermarket hardware. |

2009 Volkswagen Touareg Pros and Cons Member3335 This system in modern and highly functional. No complaints. The base audio system is great and there is no need to upgrade. The new nav is very user friendly and comes witha 40 GB hard drive. |

2004 Volkswagen Touareg Pros and Cons Member2904 Very glitchy. THe NAV system is awful. Poor info database, glitchy operation. Originally had the non-NAV version. Put in the NAV system and then threw it away after 2 months. Kept the old factory CD/radio and added a lar Garmin NAV system. |
