29000 0 Replaced the door lock Kessy module. It was draining the battery.
34000 0 Had to replace keyless entry door handle. Diagnosed a second bad door handle at this time and have ordered the part for subsequent install.
38000 0 Replaced second door handle. Faulty door handle found on previous service to replace another door handle. Part had to be ordered and then painted locally, so repair was delayed about one month.
43000 390 Replaced pads, raptors, wear sensors, and caliper carrier bolts on front only. They are single-use stretch bolts. Although VW recommends replacement most dealers don't do it. I reasoned brakes are too important to ignore factory recommendation.
46000 140 Replaced battery
46000 75 Replaced Xenon headlight bulb. I did this myself and paid $75 for the bulb. Easy job since entire headlamp assembly is easily removed and repair can be done on the workbench.

52000 300 A design defect in a wiring harness caused a fault in the air bag circuit. When approaching a full stop the engine RPM drops as if the torque converter is unlocking too late. Driveshaft vibration during cold temps A known issue with the AWD stepper motor causes periodic binding in the drivetrain.
54300 200 Part delivery issues. Now new stepper motor installed and overall a good outcome.
58000 0 A second attempt at repairing an airbag wiring harness was required to complete the original repair.

356 Replaced Flange L/S with fuel filter Replaced Center Rear Air Vent
68200 0 The small dash storage bin, lid came loose and was jamming all the time, took it out, dismantled it, found and fixed problem, saved myself about $300. Required use of Soldering iron to remould a broken piece of plastic holding spring mechanism.
76260 1000 The car was vibrating when turning at low speeds (especially noticeable when driving in a parking lot). Was told that "gear switch" needs replacing. Replaced it at an independent shop - so far so good.
88660 4000 When steering is full lock, a loud hammering sound is heard from the front wheels. They said it is positioning motors, but they will do some reprogramming first to see if that fixes it. It didn't, so now will take back.
94860 3700 After doing a software flash 3 times, finally decided to replace the Positioning Motor. Been driving for a few days and problem has not recurred.
95480 2400 Air Conditioning system stopped working - emitting hot air. Compressor was damaged, needed to be replaced. Successfully replaced with genuine from similar car damaged in accident (genuine from dealer was too expensive)
