Interior styling

Well equipped, contemporary style.

Fuel economy

Great fuel economy for a 5 cylinder wagon.

Front seat room

Lots of front seat room. Good dash design accommodates tall passengers with rear facing car seat behind. Seat was vertically adjustable providing lots of hear room.

Cargo capacity

Seats folded flat in back. Lots of room in the back. Boxy design makes space more useful.

Powertrain performance

The non-turbo engine is weak, bordering on gutless. I guess people buy these things for safety, rather than fun.

Exterior styling

Modern volvo styling is not my cup of tea. Blocky back end, bubble like front end = trying to have the best of both worlds, but coming off bipolar. The wife loves it, though.
