Excellent Vehicle with this drivetrain. Recomomended to all! The 2.9 T6 setup is terrible, however.

We wanted a car that could seat 7
We did not want to drive a full size suv
We only had about 13000 to spend, otherwise maybe we would have bought an Acadia.
We wanted something awd. The stability control has been a fantastic thing to have.
Volvo has a reputation for safety
Why Not the 2004 Volvo XC90?
We are going to let this car go for only 1 reason: we want something to tow our camper without straining our car. This has done an okay job, but at 4500 lbs and at 11 feet tall, our camper is really too much for our beloved Volvo. We are probably going to buy a 4runner of the same year.
