The 10 year/ 100,000 miles warranty is un-beatable. I spoke to couple friends & co-workers who owns KIA or Hyundai, they all said the warranty is great, but they never needed it anyway. A reliable car with great warranty, no other auto makers can match. see full Hyundai Elantra review |

Hyundai has gone from bottom of the bucket to top tier automobile in--my opinion--less than 10 years. To me, this fact alone speaks volumes about the company itself. The Elantra is a fantastic competitor to the Civics, Sentras and Corollas out there. see full Hyundai Elantra review |

They keep making better cars and people keep buying them instead of the crappy domestics...good for Hyundai. see full Hyundai Elantra review |

I always thought of Hyundais as unreliable cars. The only reason I took a chance on this car was because of the warranty. see full Hyundai Elantra review |

Horrible trade in value. I was actually told by a dealer that they did not want my car!! It was a year old, excellent condition with 30k miles. They said resale is horrible for hyundai. see full Hyundai Elantra review |

Kia doesn't have the best reputation, though I get the sense that it's slowly improving. Speaking personally, I would have laughed at the idea of buying/leasing anything from Kia even three years ago. However, in that time, I've had two: a 2011 Kia Sportage EX and, now, a 2013 Kia Optima SX Limited. The mediocre brand image is a unfortunate, because if you slapped another make's emblem on this car, people would probably be absolutely gushing over it. As I said, I don't think their image is improving, though. see full Kia Optima review |

poor trade in value but intend to keep long time due to great warranty; Kia discounting cars in USA to gain brand penetration; much better priced here than in Europe for the same car. see full Kia Optima review |
